Morning Prayer (June 21st)

Support me, Lord, all the day long,
until the shadows lengthen,
and the evening comes,
the busy world is hushed,
the fever of my day is over,
and my work done;
Then Lord, in your mercy, give me safe lodging,
a holy rest
and peace at last
In my blessed companion and Savior Jesus. Amen.

Grace for Meal (June 21st)

Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you God for everything.

Great to be Home

Moving back to the sanctuary is like transitioning into a new home.  Together with all the excitement of "newness" comes a "punch list" of items that need attention.  As we discover issues, let's add them to the punch list.    There will be no need to get punchy with our punch list.  We can take care of items on the list over the next couple months as we prepare for our grand opening in September.
 
Our celebration starts even now as we begin worshiping in our home.  Throughout the summer there will be window installation, elevator construction, floor work, painting and more.  As we check items off the punch list, we'll move closer to our Dedication Ceremony in early fall.  Although there is still work to be done, it sure is great to be home.
