When Mary was dreaming
One significant night,
An angel appeared
In a heavenly light,

Saying, “Fear not,
God’s favor you’ve won;
He’s chosen you, Mary,
To bear us His Son.

He’ll bring peace to nations
And show us the way
To love one another
And how we should pray.”

We thank you, dear Father,
For this Christmastide,
May we bring you all glory
And with you abide!
