I received this prayer from Sandy and Tommy at church. The colors and highlights are theirs as well:
Father, let us trust in You that whatever You allow to happen in our life, it is always for our benefit, so that we would become stronger, wiser, better and more caring people. Help us to be perceptive to our fellowmen's needs and their pains. When we are tempted to be ungracious, stop and ask ourselves "do I want to be on the receiving end of this rude behavior? Let us live each day as if it is our last day, and we shall see everything in a different perspective. All our obstacles would suddenly seem minute and inconsequential. We would begin to appreciate things we have taken for granted all our life. Jesus was betrayed and crucified, YET He forgives! It is very very difficult but teach us that forgiveness is just as vital to our soul as oxygen is vital to our existence. As long as we are still alive, there is nothing we can't achieve, with Your blessings.
